I enjoy taking photos of flowers with my macro lense. I am always amazed at the details in the flower when I get home and look at them on my computer screen again. The problem is that I never know what flower I have photographed and am reduced to calling a flower the purple or yellow one.
I decided to change my ways and try to get the names of the flowers. Here is a flower that I photographed yesterday. The name of the flower is at the bottom of the post. You can click on the photo for a larger image.
The flowers are Cymbidium Murasaki or commonly called the Dusty Rose Orchid.
