Conowongo Dam is about 2 hours north of Washington DC. It is nothing special except eagles have adopted this location as a place to hang out. Whenever water is released from the dam, the eagles find fishing quite good. It is a great location to photograph eagles.
I went there a couple of days ago with a friend. Despite the cold we had a great time photographing the eagles. We saw about 20 eagles that morning. I hope to get back again soon. Here are a couple of shots from that trip.
